What this checker does

Paste content and the backend checks it against public pages currently available in the Ebhor-owned source index. Users do not need to provide URLs, source text, or files.

How the check works

The system normalizes Unicode text, divides the submission into paragraph and sentence-aware chunks, selects distinctive 8-15 word phrases from across the submission, searches matching fingerprints in the Ebhor index, retrieves candidate source pages, and compares the complete submitted content with those candidates.

How matching content is calculated

The overall matched-content percentage is unique matched submitted words divided by eligible submitted words. If several sources match the same words, those words are counted only once.

Important limitation

Results are based on public pages currently available in the Ebhor index. A low matching score does not guarantee that the content is original.

Privacy

Submitted content is processed for the current check. It is not automatically added to the crawler index and should not be stored permanently by this checker.
